Mirrors Wikileaks Empty Mirrors Wikileaks

Important Information. READ FIRST!

* Please stick to english the chat (right side) for Question

* Do NOT discuss LOIC and/or HowTo dDoS here THX, because Wikileaks is not responsible for this stuff and does not support it!

* Don't join in the LOIC/AnonOps attacs. Free speech isn't defended by shutting your opponent up. (Germans have a look at http://dejure.org/gesetze/StGB/303b.html )

* Basics about "Rights" (german links) and basics for all discussions: http://dejure.org/gesetze/GG (Artikel 1-20)

Latests news :
* French government is going to substitute himself to justice by deciding if the hosting of wikileaks is legal in France : http://www.01net.com/editorial/524740/hebergement-de-wikileaks-le-gouvernement-decidera-bientot/

What can I do to support Wikileaks?
* Please do not forget the importance of the public mindset: Write in your blog, post comments, tweet and, more important, target traditional media. The topic should not die out in the public's mind.

* Viral Paper Attack: Print leaflets and labels with the Wikileaks Logo and a suitable text and place them all over the town so that the attention of ordinary people is focused on the issue. Our biggest problem in the long run is the large fraction of people printing out their emails and not understanding the net - and the nonliners (=offliners).

HowTo

* Create a Mass-Mirror Server

* http://pastebin.com/6q6E30C

* Create an independent Mirror:

* wget -m -k -E -nH [DNS Mirror]

* wget -m -k -E -nH http://46.59.1.2/

* Cron Job - Hourly Update

* Add the following line to /etc/crontab

* 0 * * * * /usr/bin/wget -nH --convert-links --no-parent -a /var/log/wgetwiki.log -P /var/www/ --mirror www.wikileaks.nl

* Note: This does a wget from www.wikileaks.nl every hour (at minute 0 past each hour) and puts the data in /var/www/ (You should change the 0 to another minute, so that not all mirrors try to fetch data at the same time)

* Execute /etc/init.d/crond restart after you saved it

* To create a DNS mirror (linking a domain to an existing website)

* use one of the following IPs :

* 213.251.145.96

* 46.9.1.2

* 195.213.241.98

* 178.21.20.8
